Terrigal

Terrigal is a large town of the Central Coast region of New South Wales.

Just 10 kilometres from Gosford, Terrigal has a population of just over 10000 people.

Terrigal was first settled in 1826 so there is plenty of history to tell at Terrigal.

The long beach at Terrigal is extremely popular with tourists as are the Terrigal lagoons. There were two lagoons at Terrigal, but one has been filled in.

A very popular tourist attraction is "The Skillion", which provides a view of all Terrigal.

The Terrigal CBD has a multi-level car park, and esplanade walkway as a result of improved structural activity. Terrigal has become much more urban since the 1970s, when there was only one market, one medical centre and several orchards in the Terrigal area.

The growth and investment opportunity of Terrigal for wealthy people, such as holiday homes and small businesses, has had both positive and negative effects on the area.

Pet friendly accommodation is varied in Terrigal and includes pet friendly caravan parks, pet friendly beach houses, pet friendly cottages, pet friendly apartments, and pet friendly hotels.

In relation to pet services and businesses Terrigal and the surrounding Terrigal area boasts pet shops, pet food outlets, pet breeders, dog grooming and washing businesses, pet minding and dog walking services, boarding kennels and catteries, pet friendly dining, pet transport operators, pet funerals businesses, aquariums retailers, bird aviaries and cages shops, pet photography and artists studios, and pet insurance agents.

Because of its natural beauty and close proximity to Sydney, Terrigal is one of 'the' places to go in New South Wales.

An opportunity to visit Terrigal is one you should not pass up. Terrigal is awaiting your arrival and once you have felt the warmth and experienced Terrigal for yourself you will certainly put Terrigal on your 'must do' list every year.
