St Leonards

St Leonards is a coastal town on the shores of Swan Bay between Queenscliff and Indented Head in the Geelong and Bellarine region 32 kilometres east of Geelong itself. With a populaltion of approximately 2,750 permanent residents the towns people take a lot of pride in the presentation of St Leonards, keeping the beach and streets clean to the point that the beach was recently rated as one of Victoria's cleanest.

Being a filming location for the television series SeaChange, St Leonards also features an excellent range of birdlife, and the motto of the town is 'every day is Sunday'. Because of the normally calm waters of Swan Bay sailing is extremely popular as well as fishing.

St Leonards has plenty of activities to keep the locals busy with a Tennis Club, Lawn Bowls Club, Yacht Club and Cricket Club. These Clubs always welcome visitors in the same manner as the residents do in the town centre,

Pet friendly accommodation in St Leonards consists mainly of pet friendly holiday homes or beach houses with some pet friendly cottages and bed and breakfasts also in existence. Pet services, other than the pet friendly accommodation options, include pet friendly dining, vet services, horse riding opportunities, dog grooming and washing, pet minding and dog walking, pet and animal transport operators and pet insurance agents.

St Leonards comes highly recommended if you are looking for a coastal holiday within easy reach of Melbourne so take a look through the pet friendly accommodation listings and organise your St Leonards experience in the near future.
