Seaspray

 


Seaspray is a small coastal town in the East Gippsland/Lakes region of Victoria.

Seaspray is located on the Ninety Mile Beach about 10 kilometres off the South Gippsland Highway and approximately 240 kilometres south east of Melbourne.

With a permanent population of around 350 people Seaspray multiplies during the summer months as Seaspray has a brilliant frontage location to the longest beach in Australia, the Ninety Mile Beach.

The main recreational features of Seaspray focus around swimming, fishing, surfing and other watersports. Seaspray has a Surf Life Saving Club and hosts the annual Seaspray Surf Life Saving Carnival. There is also fishing in the creek, walks, tennis, picnic and playground facilities, and regular Seaspray markets.

Seaspray hosted an overnight's stay of the Great Victorian Bike Ride on its seventh running in 1990.
