Rainbow Beach

In the southern area of the Fraser Coast in Queensland is beautiful Rainbow Beach with its name being derived from the rainbow colours of the sand dunes, caused by the content of minerals such as rutile, ilmenite, zircon and monazite in the sand. 240 kilometres north of Brisbane Rainbow Beach has a permanent population of around the 1000 mark and was not settled until 1969. Pet friendly accommodation is aplenty at Rainbow Beach with many suites, cottages, duplexes, beach houses, units, apartments, bed and breakfasts, guest houses and townhouses being available as rentals. Take Debbie's Place for instance-superb suites close to the beach available to rent with your pet. Sounds great doesn't it. The main pet service at Rainbow Beach is obviously the Rainbow Beach Horse Rides, and there are also boarding kennels and catteries plus outlets where you can obtain pet food, products and accessories. Rainbow Beach sounds great so make sure you place it on your agenda when heading to the Fraser Coast region.
