Port Rickaby

Port Rickaby is on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia and boasts some lovely pet friendly accommodation places.

In 1876 Port Rickaby was established as a shipping place and named after Thomas Rickaby, a pioneer from Ireland.

The greater Port Rickaby area is known as Koolywurtie, which has an Aboriginal translation of "Where rocks meet the sea". A jetty was constructed at Port Rickaby in 1879 to a length of 405 feet and was lengthened three times to a total length of 820 feet in 1949.

The Port Rickaby jetty was also used for unloading fencing materials, cement, and stock, and all the other items needed for the new Port Rickaby settlement.

Pet friendly accommodation at Port Rickaby is in the form of pet friendly caravan parks, pet friendly camping, and pet friendly cabins, whilst pet services include pet food and pet supplies outlets, Port Rickaby vets, pet transport operators, horse riding opportunities, and pet friendly dining options.

Port Rickaby is a really friendly town and the residents enjoy having visitors arrive, so why don't you keep them happy and enjoy some time at Port Rickaby and one of the pet friendly accommodation choices in the very near future. Some seaside voice is calling you to Port Rickaby.
