Lang Lang

Lang Lang is a town of approximately 1400 people in the Gippsland/Wilsons Prom region of Victoria, and is about 75 km south-east of Melbourne and includes pet friendly accommodation venues.

Lang Lang is just off the South Gippsland Highway near its intersection with the Bass Highway on the Lang Lang River and is the centre of the Southern Hemisphere's largest asparagus growing area.

Lang Lang was formerly known as Carrington and is now called Lang Lang in honour of an early settler called Lang.

Lang Lang Post Office opened in 1878. In 1891 after the arrival of the railway it was renamed Lang Lang West and a new Lang Lang post office was opened near the station. 

General Motors Holden operates the Lang Lang Vehicle Proving Ground adjacent to the South Gippsland Highway at Lang Lang.

A feature of Lang Lang is their annual rodeo held every Easter Monday and it attracts visitors to Lang Lang annually.

Lang Lang has a limited list of pet friendly accommodation venues and these include pet friendly caravan parks, pet friendly cottages, and pet friendly cabins.

Most of the pet services around Lang Lang revolve around the farming industry with vets, farriers, pet breeders, horse dentists, pet transport, pet friendly dining venues, pet food and pet supplies retailers, and horse riding opportunities.
