Dargo

One of the most remote towns in Victoria is Dargo in the High Country.

With a population between 100 and 150 people Dargo is located about 350 kilometres east on Melbourne and is settled around the Dargo River. The area is mainly supported by the beef grazing and timber industries and Dargo is also an entry to the Alpine National Park, Avon Wilderness Park and Mitchell River National Park.
