Blackheath is a large town of approximately 4,200 population in the beautiful Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

Blackheath has an elevation of 1,025 metres and is just 2 hours by car from Sydney. Blackheath is famous for its annual Rhododendron Festival held in November each year, and the Blackheath surrounding area is filled with natural beauty such as Popes Glen area and there are many breathtaking views and bush walks to experience around Blackheath. Govetts Leap (608 metre high falls) and Evans Lookout provide views of the Grose Valley which is the starting point for the Grand Canyon Walk. You can also begin the Grand Canyon Walk from Neates Glen and visit Beauchamp Falls. Edenderry, Braeside Walk and Hilary Falls are also nearby to Blackheath.
