Aireys Inlet

Aireys Inlet  is a small town of approximately 1,000 residents on Victoria's Great Ocean Road west of Melbourne and just 45 kilometres from Victoria's second largest city in Geelong. Aireys Inlet is between the larger settlements of Anglesea to the east and Lorne to the west but is actually adjacent to Fairhaven.

Pet friendly accommodation in Aireys Inlet is mainly made up of pet friendly beach houses or holiday homes but there are also pet friendly cottages and apartments plus some pet friendly sites at certain times of the year at the Caravan Park. Pet services other than the pet friendly accommodation options include vets, horse riding venues, pet food supplies, pet friendly dining opportunities, farriers, and pet and animal transport operators.

The major attraction of Aireys Inlet, other than the beautiful beaches such as Sandy Gully Beach, Sunnymeade and Steppy Beach, is the Split Point Lighthouse which identifies the town from quite a distance away, whether approaching by road or by sea.

Aireys Inlet was badly effected by the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983 but has recovered extremely well to be a very popular destination for visitors, whether just for a day or actually a stay for a couple of days or longer.

We at 'Pet Friendly' recommend Aireys Inlet as a lovely relaxing town to spend your break from your normal working life so take a look through the pet friendly accommodation options below and place your reservation.
