Uhuru Chalets near Albany are fully equipped, self-contained comfortable chalets. The 2 bedroom chalet sleeps 4 people while the Wagon is designed for a couple. All linen and towels are provided. Uhuru Chalets are located in a bush setting offering peace, seclusion and tranquility for holiday makers. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Uhuru is located half-way between Albany and Denmark making it a very central base from which to explore the south coast. Within easy access, Cosy Corner is the nearest beach and dogs can be exercised there freely. A creek along Uhuru's boundary is another great place for enjoying the bush. 'Uhuru', Swahili for freedom and independence is what we offer our guests.

The tariff for the Wagon chalet is $110 per night.
A $10 surcharge applies for one night stays.

'Uhuru' is the Swahili word for freedom and independence and that is the atmosphere we wish to create for our guests. Offering peace and seclusion on the scenic route between Albany and Denmark. Uhuru has two fully-equipped, self-catering chalets in a delightful secluded bush setting that attracts a wonderful variety of birds and in springtime wildflowers abound. Kangaroos and bandicoots are frequently seen around the property.
