This enormous rambling straw bale farmhouse is located in a peaceful corner of a large rural property, just 10 minutes from Margaret River town. With 6 double bedrooms and room for extras, its the perfect location for a private get-together with family or friends (or both!). There are several living spaces so you can all spread out, and an enormous dining table for banquets in the evening! Your well-behaved dogs (up to 2 unless otherwise agreed) are also welcome, and they will think theyve gone to heaven! So much space to run and play, and a place for their beds by the warm fire. There is also a secure and sheltered dog run for outings without them.

Description

There are 6 sizeable double bedrooms with either queen beds or twin beds, as well as a large living room which can accommodate extra guests on sofa bed or mattresses.Three bathrooms with toilets and showers, as well as a large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen. The house is 400m from the nearest road, so is very safe for children and dogs. We do not accept cats as the bird life is plentiful and very precious. 

There is a large verandah area with barbeque, comfortable lounges and a swing chair for those lazy afternoons catching the sun, bird-watching or just snoozing. Take a glass of wine and watch as the setting sun lights up the karri trees in the bushland across the vineyard and olive grove. Magical!! 

Inside dwellers can take advantage of a massive library of books, DVDs and games, and internet. There are also plenty of toys to keep the kids amused. There are also 2 portacots (BYO bedding) and highchairs for the littlies. There is an outside games room with a table tennis table.

A short drive away is the best beach in the area - the magnificent Redgate Beach with surfing or swimming. And Margaret River's bright lights are a short drive in the other direction.Less than 5 minutes to some of the world's best wineries - Arlewood Estate, Mr Barval Fine Wines, Leeuwin Estate, Voyager, Redgate, Watershed and many more.
