Pet Friendly. Low set brick house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. plenty of storage for boats/jetskis/canoes, side gate for boats and a lockup garage , please no caravans. It has a beautiful big courtyard for plenty of entertaining even in the not so shiny weather. Linen and bath towels are provided, dogs are allowed inside - please bring pets own bedding. Large fenced yard for the pups to play in. 
 
This lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom air conditioned home is situated 300 metres from one of Hervey Bay's best dog friendly beaches. Short stroll to the Marina. 
 
The light and airy lounge room is well equipped with a large LCD HD TV and DVD player, sound system with ipod holder and a large selection of movies (including childrens). There is also a good variety of board games for all the family's enjoyment and a second living room for the kids to enjoy playing on the Wii. 
 
There is also a portacot for hire for a small fee.

 

Pricing Information

From $150 per night Offpeak discounted weekly rates available.  Price is based on 1-2 guests utilising 1 bedroom and ensuite only, extra guests are an additional $10 per night per guest, bedding supplied per guest eg: 1-2 guests = 1 bedroom and ensuite only, 3-4 guests = 2 bedrooms, 5-6 guests = 3 bedrooms, 7 guests all bedrooms, if additional bedrooms are required when less than specified guests staying there will be an additional charge.

Deposit of 50% non refundable is required within 48 hours to secure the booking.  (Bookings 4 months or more in advance can be secured on 20% deposit). Bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival require full payment within 48 hours to confirm the booking.

A bond of $500 is also payable.  This bond will usually be fully refunded within 72 hours of vacating the property upon clearance from our cleaners.  If paying by credit card directly to Shangrila then this bond is not required.

Balance of the rental amount, plus the security bond, must be received in full 30 days prior to occupancy.  If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let it.

Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period.  If the property is fully re-let and a refund is made then a $100 cancellation fee will apply.

Pet Features & Rules

Pet Rules: PETS WELCOME - Pets are allowed inside with their own bedding, if there is evidence of your pet having utilised the house bedding then the cleaning cost will be deducted from your bond or your credit card. All dog droppings must be disposed of and all pet hair removed from within the residence.

Description

A Real Home Away From Home

The house is fully self contained, equipped with electrical appliances, T.V. and Wii in the second living room and T.V. and DVD player in both the main living area and Master Bedroom. There are brand new reverse cycle air conditioners in both the lounge/dining and the master bedroom. 
 
There are 2 queen size beds, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds and the fourth bedroom has one single bed. All linen is supplied unless otherwise requested. The master bedroom has a walk in robe and large ensuite with a double shower. 
 
Each bedroom has ceiling fans, security screens, curtains and blinds on the windows. Both Queen bedrooms and the twin room have large size built ins. 
 
In the laundry we have a top loader washing machine and 6kg clothes dryer, there is also a full sized ironing board and iron. 
 
A starter pack consisting of sugar, coffee, tea, washing powder and laundry powder are provided on arrival.

We have set up a compendium with ideas on tours, attractions and pet friendly locations all close to "home". 
 
Shangrila is situated in the quiet area of Urangan and not too far away from the Hervey Bay Marina. 
 

Plan a day trip to beautiful Fraser Island. Fraser Island was recently voted No. 2 best Queensland destination & Hervey Bay Whale Watching was voted No. 5 best Queensland destination 
 
Whale watching cruises start in July and run through until November each year. 

Try your hand at putt putt, go-carting, water skiing, kite boarding, parasailing, all within a few minutes drive. The FREE water park is only a 5 minute drive away, great fun for the kids and relaxing for the adults.
