Alpana Station in the heart of the Flinders Ranges offers pet friendly accommodation at their powered sites, camping areas and Nungawurtina Hut bush retreat. Just 5km south of Blinman and 50km north of the iconic Wilpena Pound, Alpana is ideally located as a base for you to explore this scenic and special region, with easy access on sealed roads. The Henery family offer quality accommodation, tracks and tours at very reasonable rates and a true station experience on land they have lived on and cared for since 1878 over 6 generations. Alpana has spare working dog kennels available for use by visiting pooches at no charge to allow Alpana guests to enjoy a day in the Flinders Ranges National Park. Pricing Information
Rates
- Ensuite powered sites: $50 per night for 2 people ($10 single-night surcharge)
- Trees Area powered sites: $40 per night for 2 people
- $15 per extra adult, $5 per child per night.
- For group bookings of Ensuite powered sites and Quarters, price on application.
Shearers Quarters
- Minimum $200 per night for up to 4 adults
- Extra adults: $35 each per night
- Extra children: $25 each per night
- For groups of 10 or more people: $35 per adult, $25 per child
- Hire of bed linen and towel: $35 per bed
- For group bookings of Quarters and Ensuite powered sites, price on application.
Nungawurtina Hut
- $80 for two people per night
- $20 per extra adult, $5 per child per night

Alpana campsites are spacious, natural and scenic. There are four Ensuite powered sites and four powered sites for vans that have their own ensuite bathrooms. Nungawurtina Hut is a bush retreat basic comfortable cabin in a spectacular and very private setting.
