Description
At Clunes Caravan Park "WE DO NOT Have peak prices it is the same price all year round " Clunes Caravan Park is situated in the heart of the Gold Fields. It is here, where gold was first discovered in Victoria during what became “THE GOLD RUSH” in the mid 1800s. Clunes is an ancient, historical town with many old buildings and quaint gardens. Clunes is surrounded by many historical towns: Maryborough and Ballarat only 30 minutes away. Bendigo 1 hour and Melbourne in under 2 hours. Then there is also all the historical mining towns jotted around, each with their touch of history, farmers markets, antique markets, brick-a-bract markets, swap meets, and specialty shops Alternatively you can just sit back and enjoy the peacefulness of the caravan park, situated alongside the Creswick Creek, with huge shady Elm trees, green lawns and beautiful gardens listening to the birds going about their daily doings, spot the Platypus, you will have to be very early and quiet, for this one. Venture across the street for a coffee, rummage around some of our wonderful treasure shops and make sure you visit Marie at " Timeless Harmony Treasures "and finish the day at the “Bread and Circus” or the "National Hotel " for Lunch and dinner, There is also the Bakery and The Lollie shop , and Book shops to search for that perfect book.
